PA Licensed Psychologist/School Psychologist

 

Currently hiring PA Licensed Psychologist with PA School Psychologist certification to work in busy Lancaster, PA private assessment practice performing Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE's). Successful applicant must be able to administer, score and interpret psychological tests including the WISC-IV, WIAT-III, W-J-III NU Cog & Ach, etc. to a wide range of children, college students and adults on a fee for service basis. A background in neuropsychological testing and process assessment is desirable.

Current IDEA regulations specify that the right of a parent to obtain an IEE at public expense is triggered when the parent disagrees with an evaluation performed by the public agency (i.e. a public school district). Federal law defines an IEE as "an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question."  (34 C.F.R. 300.503).
