Kathy Ference

Kathy Ference is an honors graduate of West Chester University and joined our practice in 1991. Following a successful teaching career, Kathy cared for her children at home until they reached school age. Since joining our practice, she assumed responsibility for accounting, scheduling, book keeping, appointment confirmation, office management and data processing.

Kathy lives with her husband, Dave, in Lancaster. They have three grown children, Jonathan, Mary and Maureen who live in Oklahoma, Alabama and Chicago.

Sandy Melancon

Sandy is our executive secretary/typist/word processor/ receptionist extraordinaire. A tireless worker who makes Dr. Kay look good on paper, Sandy is the first to arrive at the office every day and the first to leave.

In addition to her life at our office, Sandy is an avid golfer and skier. She lives with her husband, George, in Marietta and has two married daughters, Robin and Kelly.

If you look at Sandy's computer desktop, it has a picture of a golf course which is where she almost always would rather be. Despite her yearnings for golf and skiing, however, she is a dedicated worker who often takes work home on weekends to make sure that our clients receive their reports within two weeks of their testing appointments. Bonita Shafer

Bonnie has headed our tutoring program since 1988. A valued and conscientious employee, Bonnie, has helped many students and adults achieve their full academic potential over the past 19 years.

Former clients of Bonnie's include college graduates, high school students and elementary age children. The words they have used to describe her are:

"The best friend I ever had" and "The one person who really helped me".
