Margaret J. Kay, Ed.D. Psychologist & Associates provide a variety of professional psychological services including: Dr. Margaret J. Kay, Ed.D., N.C.S.P., D.A.B.P.S., is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychological Specialties with Forensic Specialization in Educational and School Psychology. Dr. Kay's diagnostic procedures are designed to provide a practical, realistic readout of each client's intellectual functioning status, unique learning style characteristics, present academic achievement levels, receptive and expressive language functions, social and emotional needs, personality orientation, and career/vocational interests and aptitudes.

District March 2000 Dr. Kay performs consultations and records reviews as a service to her clients. However, Dr. Kay receives dozens of requests for advice and help every day and cannot offer recommendations for evaluation, educational programming or placement until she has reviewed the child's file. Presentations & Training Programs As part of our outreach to public and private schools, community organizations, social service agencies, business, law enforcement, governmental programs, community groups, parents and children, we are pleased to offer a variety of full-day, half-day and three-day in-service presentations, workshops and training programs. Professionals on our staff include certified teachers, reading specialists, cognitive therapists and dyslexia educators who provide individualized tutorials for learning disabled, attention deficit hyperactivity disordered (ADHD) and dyslexic children and adults. with extensive experience treating
Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder (PTSD),
phobia,
anxiety
and depression
resulting from abuse, personal
injury, vehicular injury, combat, rape and other traumatic experiences.
She specializes in brief, results-oriented
psychotherapy approaches designed to achieve maximum benefit in a minimum of
time. She provides
individual, family and group psychotherapy in a relaxed, professional
setting where confidentiality is insured and is trained to serve the needs of children, adolescents
and adults of any age. Dr. Kay has been employed in private practice in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, since 1980 and the majority of her professional work is devoted to providing comprehensive, Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE's) for children, adolescents and adults of any age.
