Coastal Psychology & Education Associates is the therapy practice of Donna Ignelzi-Ferraro, PhD. Donna Ignelzi-Ferraro is a licensed psychologist practicing in Millville, DE. She specializes in several forms of outpatient therapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy.
Dr. Ferraro assists adolescents and adults who seek assistance in overcoming anxiety, depression, life's stressors, and relationship issues. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Ignelzi-Ferraro also conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations.
Donna Ignelzi-Ferraro is a licensed psychologist in the State of Delaware. She has been working in the field of psychology for approximately 26 years in a variety of settings and capacities. She was employed as an educational psychologist, special education administrator, and for the last 12 years, as a private practice psychologist. Dr. Ferraro is certified in cognitive behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy.
Dr. Ferraro received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with a minor in Psychology from Duquesne University. She earned her MA and PhD in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Thereafter, she completed one year of post doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania in Structural Family Therapy and one year at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Dr. Ferraro completed her internship at the Newark Family Counseling Center, focusing on further training in cognitive behavioral therapy. Most recently, she completed training in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the New England Institute of Hypnotherapy.
Regular office hours are between 9 AM and 1 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Appointment times are available outside of regular office hours by request.
When Dr. Ignelzi-Ferraro is with a client, she is not immediately available by telephone. Her telephone, however, is answered by an answering service (voice mail that she monitors frequently).
Dr. Ignelzi-Ferraro will make every effort to return your call on the same day you make it, with the exception of weekends and holidays.
